The 2026 Deutsche Meisterschaften will be held in the Schwarzwald region from September 4 to 6. The competition will be hosted at the Nordic Center am Notschrei, but details about the event’s format and disciplines have not been finalized. Another important stop is the City-Biathlon in Dresden, which will take place on August 23, offering an early summer highlight.
Munich will be the home of the Loop One Festival in October 2026, marking its second year. This time, the event is expanding to two days, with competitions on October 17 and 18. The Martin Fourcade Nordic Festival in France was originally scheduled for 2025 but was canceled. Plans for 2026 have also been called off, with no further word on whether the event will return in the future. This absence leaves a gap in the international summer biathlon calendar.
