What went down
The most visible outages impacted consumer-facing services. Apple TV may have been unavailable, Apple Music subscriptions could be slow or inaccessible, and Podcasts faced user-reported issues. The App Store also had a ripple of problems, particularly in its backend APIs and receipts.
Behind the scenes
Developers saw even more specific disruptions. App Store Server APIs, Server Notifications, and Receipt Verification were all marked as problematic. Apple listed those issues as under investigation, without giving a projected resolution window.
The consumer-facing System Status page showed that while AppleCare on Device purchases were offline, most App Store activity was described as undergoing ‘routine maintenance.’ Apple Music, however, warned that its subscription service might be slow or down entirely.

Social and community reports indicated varied experiences. Some users could not stream music or watch content, while others reported delays or failed purchases. Apple has not yet given a cause for the outages, but its use of the word ‘routine’ suggests the problems are expected to resolve by themselves.
