Nothing, the design-forward phone maker, is rumored to be launching a smartwatch under $300. That would mark a departure from its CMF sub-brand, which has focused on low-cost, basic smartwatches priced well below $100.
A bigger step for Nothing
The new smartwatch, set for release in September, would be the first product directly under the Nothing brand. Unlike the CMF line, which relies on a lightweight real-time operating system, this new model could offer a more powerful platform.
Google’s Wear OS is a likely candidate. At a price of $250 to $300, the watch would undercut the Pixel Watch and Galaxy Watch, while still offering a better user experience than the current CMF models.
The market opportunity
A $300 smartwatch would sit at the sweet spot between budget devices and high-end smartwatches. If Nothing delivers a refined design and Wear OS, it could capture users looking for a cheaper alternative to flagship models.
Nothing hasn’t yet confirmed the details, but leaks hint at a product that could expand the company’s reach beyond phones and into wearables with a strong, design-led identity.
