As part of its fifth-anniversary milestone, VITURE, a leading player in the extended reality (XR) glasses market, introduced the Pro 2 model. This new pair is touted as the lightest and most compact design the company has ever created.
A Slimmer Design, More Comfort
Weighing just 63 grams, the VITURE Pro 2 is significantly lighter than its predecessor, which came in at 77 grams. According to VITURE, improvements were made in four key areas: field curvature, image sharpness, geometric distortion, and image stability. These enhancements reportedly result in a much clearer image on the Micro-OLED display, eliminating visual artifacts or unwanted distortions.
The brightness of the display is also a standout feature, with each screen reaching up to 1,600 nits. This allows for clear visibility even in direct sunlight. While VITURE has not yet shared the exact resolution, the previous Pro model came with a 1200p resolution per eye and a 120Hz refresh rate. Myopic users will also appreciate the inclusion of two dedicated dials that allow for vision correction up to -5.0D.
Complementing the Pro 2, VITURE launched the Dock Mini, an affordable and highly portable accessory priced at $99. This small, credit card-sized dock can power two pairs of glasses from a single USB-C source. It is equipped with a 10,000mAh battery that can also be used to charge a wide variety of devices, including smartphones, laptops, or even a Nintendo Switch.
The Dock Mini features a modular design that allows users to split one USB-C port into two. This is particularly helpful when connecting multiple pairs of glasses. The new design is a major upgrade in terms of convenience and portability when compared to the previous dock model.
Pricing and Availability
The VITURE Pro 2 is now available for purchase at $299 through the company’s official website and Amazon. The Dock Mini is priced at $99, but customers who buy both the glasses and the dock together can enjoy a $20 discount. This pricing strategy is a significant shift from the pricier Luma series that VITURE offered last year.
The Pro 2 represents a strong step forward in the company’s pursuit of sleeker, more user-friendly XR glasses. With enhancements in display quality, portability, and added functionality, the new product line is well-positioned to appeal to a broad range of consumers.
VITURE continues to differentiate itself from competitors who are still focusing on integrating artificial intelligence or proprietary ecosystems into their AR glasses. For users who value flexibility and compatibility, the VITURE Pro 2 and its modular accessories offer a compelling combination of usability and innovation.
As the XR market continues to evolve, VITURE’s latest release marks another milestone in the company’s history. With a focus on delivering premium performance at a more accessible price, the Pro 2 and Dock Mini may help the company solidify its place as a go-to name in the space.
