The essentials
  • A votação será aberta para membros anuais da PDCTV em 1º de setembro e para o público em geral em 8 de setembro.
  • Alexandra Palace será a sede do evento com capacidade recorde de 180 mil ingressos.

The Paddy Power World Darts Championship is launching a ticket ballot for the 2026/27 edition to ensure genuine fans can attend matches at the full face value of the ticket. This follows a growing trend in major sports events to control ticket access and prevent resales at inflated prices. The championship will return to Alexandra Palace, with the Great Hall being used for the first time. This venue change is expected to boost the event’s total capacity to 180,000 tickets, a record for the competition.

The ticket distribution will take place over two distinct rounds. PDCTV Annual Members will get an exclusive early access period starting on September 1 and ending on September 7. To qualify for this priority window, fans must have an active subscription before the cutoff of August 30. Those who register after that date will only be eligible for the General Ballot, which opens afterward. An annual subscription costs £59.99 for a 12-month membership and includes live coverage, on-demand content, exclusive interviews, and behind-the-scenes access to major events throughout the year.

The General Ballot will be available to the public from September 8 to September 14. While all fans are welcome to apply in this stage, demand is expected to be extremely high. As a result, organizers have made it clear that no tickets are guaranteed to be left after the process concludes. Each application is considered on a first-come, first-served basis, but even this does not ensure success for everyone.

Key Dates and Deadlines

August 30 marks the final date to have an active PDCTV Annual subscription for the priority ballot window. Fans who miss this deadline will have to apply in the General Ballot. The PDCTV Annual Members Ballot starts on September 1 and ends on September 7. The General Ballot begins on September 8 and concludes on September 14. All participants will be informed via email in September about whether their applications were successful, but no guarantees are given for either round.

What to Expect

Darts enthusiasts can submit their entries through the PDC website, with early applications strongly recommended due to the expected level of interest. The 2026/27 event at Alexandra Palace is set to become the biggest live audience draw in darts history, making it a significant milestone for the sport and its fans. Those wanting to stay updated on the ticket process are encouraged to sign up for updates, with the ballot link sent directly to their inbox once each round begins. The event is scheduled to run from December 11 through to January 3. Luke Littler will head into the tournament as the player to beat, with the youngster targeting a third consecutive world crown.

“With demand expected to exceed the available capacity, there is no guarantee that any tickets will remain available following the completion of the ballot process.”
The next card

Register for updates and prepare to join the ballot from September. Miss the deadline, and only the General Ballot remains.
