State champions Casady and McGuinness are among several Fridayland schools launching the 2026-27 season. Casady, who secured their first-ever Class 3A title by defeating Metro Christian last year, welcomed Harding Charter Prep this Tuesday. Meanwhile, McGuinness, champions in 5A, are set to face Broken Arrow.
Deer Creek, Capitol Hill, and Enid also open the season with home matches, adding to the anticipation. Mount St. Mary, another title contender, will begin at Choctaw. Crossings Christian is scheduled to compete in the Commando Shootout at Tulsa-Cascia Hall in late August.
The first month of the season is packed with important matches. On August 18, Carl Albert and Casady will play, along with Southwest Covenant and Crossings Christian. The following week will see key games on August 20 and 21, with teams like Deer Creek, John Marshall, and Mount St. Mary competing in multiple venues.
By the end of August, matches will feature Crossings Christian at Heritage Hall on the 27th and Deer Creek at Norman on the 24th. The final week will include the Volleypalooza in Austin, Texas, from August 27 to 29, with Mount St. Mary participating in the event.
