Air Defense Intercepts Drone Threats
The Pakistan Air Force detected the drones quickly. Four were shot down near the Torkham border. Another four fell in the mountainous Kohat area. Officials said the Taliban regime supported these attacks. They claimed the strikes targeted public places. The wreckage is now in military custody. Surveillance systems remain fully active and alert.
Ground Clashes Escalate Along Border
Tensions rose after a failed infiltration attempt. Terrorists linked to TTP tried to cross into Kurram. The attack originated from Nangarhar and Paktia provinces. Pakistani troops thwarted the move. Afghan forces then opened fire on border posts. Heavy weapons and mortars were used. Pakistan responded by targeting specific Afghan posts.
Militants Killed in Balochistan Ops
Separate operations occurred in Quetta district. Security forces cleared hideouts in the Shaban area. Thirteen terrorists were killed during this clearance. Weapons and explosives were recovered. Earlier, six others were killed in Kech and Quetta West. One soldier, Subedar Mu, was injured. The military says operations will continue. The goal is to neutralize the threat completely.
