Moldova is temporarily withdrawing its border guards and customs officers from three checkpoints located on Ukrainian territory. The decision, announced by the Moldovan Border Police, takes effect immediately and is set to last for 90 days. For years, joint control operations have been conducted at the Giurgiulești–Reni, Briceni–Rossoșani, and Criva–Mamaliga crossings, with Moldovan staff operating on the Ukrainian side of the line. Now, those personnel will return to work within Moldovan borders.
