NATO Jets Scramble After Drone Violates Moldova and Romania

NATO interceptors failed to down a jet-propelled Russian drone that violated Romanian airspace for half an hour during a major alliance exercise, a development that follows a previous successful interception in August and a similar missile breach in Poland earlier this month.
According to GN geopolitics/nato, the unshot drone penetrated at least 50 kilometers into Romanian airspace for approximately 30 minutes despite the presence of a massive NATO air exercise and scrambled F-18s, ultimately returning to Moldova where it crashed in a farm field.
