Newcore Gold Ltd. reported a 6.41 grams per tonne gold intercept over 24 meters at the Boin deposit. This grade stands as one of the strongest width-grade combinations recorded at the site. The result reinforces continuity across the lower oxide and upper fresh zones.
The company is advancing an 80,000-meter drill campaign at the Enchi project in Ghana. Streetwise Reports notes that these new results are not yet included in the current Mineral Resource Estimate. This leaves the material available to inform future mine planning and economic studies.
Recent Drilling Confirms Mineralization Continuity
Hole KBRC411 graded 2.59 grams per tonne gold over 69 meters from 58 meters. The high-grade section spans 24 meters starting at 59 meters depth. Adjacent hole KBRC414 intersected 0.83 grams per tonne gold over 32 meters from 70 meters.
Hole KBRC404 returned 0.68 grams per tonne gold over 22 meters from 70 meters. It included a 3.37 grams per tonne section over 6 meters from 84 meters. These intersections confirm mineralization above current reserve and resource grades along five sections.
Project Scope and Resource Context
Newcore has drilled 47,100 meters across 295 holes in the ongoing Enchi program. Ninety-nine percent of these holes intersected gold mineralization. The latest release covers seven reverse circulation holes totaling 960 meters at Boin.
Boin holds a Probable Mineral Reserve of 15.9 million tonnes grading 0.84 grams per tonne. This reserve represents 429,000 ounces of gold. The deposit also holds Indicated and Inferred resources totaling over 32 million tonnes.
Operational Plans and Future Studies
The Pre-Feasibility Study outlines an open-pit operation processing 5.5 million tonnes annually. This plan uses conventional milling and carbon-in-leach technology. Only the first 28,000 meters of drilling fed into the March 2026 resource estimate.
Deeper drilling targets higher-grade zones to refine the mine plan. Metallurgical and geotechnical work continues alongside the drilling campaign. All deposits at Enchi remain open along strike and at depth for further exploration.
