UBS projects gold to hit 4,600 dollars in December 2026, defying expectations of two Federal Reserve rate hikes this year.

UBS projects gold will reach 4,600 dollars per ounce by December 2026. The bank forecasts a further rise to 5,400 dollars by September 2027. This represents a 24 percent gain from Friday's closing price. Gold traded at 4,347 dollars on Friday. The metal lost 1.8 percent over the previous week.
