Bitcoin ETF Outflows Hit $449 Million in Three Days

US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $282.6 million in net outflows on Thursday, marking the largest daily withdrawal since July 13.
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds registered $282.6 million in net outflows on Thursday. This figure represents the largest daily withdrawal since July 13. The selling reversed part of the $3.8 billion in net inflows seen during the funds' strongest three-week stretch of 2026.
Total net assets across these funds stood at $97.5 billion. The three-day selling streak brought net outflows for the current week to $449 million. Cumulative net inflows for the period remain at $55.17 billion, according to data from Cointelegraph.
Largest fund sees biggest exit
ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF accounted for $164 million of Thursday's total withdrawals. This single fund represented the largest share of the daily outflow. Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust ETF followed with $36 million in net outflows.
Fidelity's FBTC recorded $33.6 million in net outflows on the same day. These three products dominated the selling pressure. Other funds in the sector saw smaller individual movements.
Altcoin funds follow trend
Spot Ether ETFs registered $29.8 million in net outflows on Thursday. This move erased most of the $34.8 million in net inflows recorded on Wednesday. Spot Solana ETFs logged $483,000 in net outflows.
Solana funds had seen $11.7 million in inflows the previous day. The shift to outflows indicates a broader risk-off sentiment. Investors are pulling capital from both Bitcoin and major altcoin products.
Market context for withdrawals
The current outflow streak contrasts with earlier inflow periods. Funds had accumulated significant assets during the previous month. The recent decline in capital suggests a pause in institutional accumulation.
Investors are currently favoring liquidity over exposure. The $449 million weekly outflow highlights this shift. Market participants are reducing positions in regulated digital asset products.
