Latitude secured a $35 million Series A round. This amount ranked second in the weekly total. The combined value of the Payward and Latitude deals reached $135 million. This figure represents 89% of the total disclosed funding. The remaining three deals totaled $16 million.
Nasdaq Links to Tokenized Equities
Nasdaq announced the investment agreement on September 10. The company described the transaction as an agreement to invest. It did not state that cash had already changed hands. The deal builds on existing work between the two firms. They plan to connect Nasdaq’s equity token design with Payward’s xStocks infrastructure.
Payward will adopt Nasdaq’s market surveillance technology. This technology will run across its trading venues. Nasdaq expects to launch its equity token design in the second quarter of 2027. This date is a company target, not a completed launch. The design concerns the ownership and trading of tokenized shares.
Latitude Targets Stablecoin Settlements
Oak HC/FT led the $35 million Series A for Latitude. The announcement occurred on September 9. Latitude builds infrastructure for stablecoin-based cross-border payments. It settles transactions using stablecoins. It delivers funds to recipients through local banking systems.
The company offers a single interface for businesses. This tool supports money transfers across different markets. Latitude holds money-transmitter licenses in 45 U.S. markets. This regulatory status supports its U.S. operations. The company aims to facilitate regulated payment routes for U.S. businesses paying recipients abroad.
Smaller Rounds Fill Out Total
Antarctic Exchange announced a $7 million financing. The round concluded on September 7. The funds support its decentralized perpetual-futures platform. Valisa Capital Markets and Lucidity Capital are named backers. Republic Crypto structured the token component of the deal.
RealGo reported $6 million in strategic funding. TINA, a geospatial data project, announced $3 million. TRM Labs disclosed a new investment at a $2 billion valuation. The company did not reveal the size of this investment. These figures complete the $151 million weekly total.
