Five Major Altcoins Face Critical Support Tests This Week

Hyperliquid drops 10% after hitting record highs, while Ethereum and XRP test key technical levels.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) closed the week down 10% after touching a record high of $90. This weekly bearish engulfing pattern signals immediate short-term selling pressure. The token now tests support at $76.
Ethereum (ETH) fell 3% as price rejected the $2,500 level. Current support sits at $2,400. Declining buy volume suggests bulls are exhausting, making a deeper correction likely if this level fails.
XRP and ADA face resistance rejection
XRP crashed 9% after sellers rejected a breakout at $1.6. Price has retreated to the $1.3 support level. Holding this floor is critical to preserving the 60% gain from late August.
Cardano (ADA) also dropped 9% after failing to clear $0.23 resistance. Without renewed buyer interest, ADA risks falling below $0.20. A re-test of the $0.15 support is possible if sellers regain control.
BNB and HYPE maintain broader uptrends
Binance Coin (BNB) dropped 2% after a reversal near $780. The token is pulling back toward $690 support. Maintaining a higher low above $580 keeps the bullish structure intact despite the pullback.
HYPE remains in an overall uptrend as long as price stays above $70. The $100 level is the next psychological target. According to GN markets/crypto (en-US), this asset has shown consistent higher highs in 2026.
