Flex enables direct crypto deposits via Mesh partnership

Flex integrates Mesh to allow business owners to fund accounts directly with crypto and stablecoins from hundreds of exchanges.
Flex now accepts direct deposits of cryptocurrency and stablecoins. This integration connects the platform to hundreds of external exchanges and wallets. Business owners can fund their Flex accounts using digital assets without creating new accounts. The feature brings crypto into the same interface used for traditional banking, cards, and credit management.
Mesh provides the underlying payment network for this transaction flow. The system verifies ownership of the digital assets at the point of deposit. This process allows funds held on exchanges or in personal wallets to become working capital. Companies can use these funds to pay suppliers and cover operational expenses directly within the Flex environment.
Simplifying digital asset integration
Flex founder Zaid Rahman stated that the goal is to remove complexity for non-crypto users. The platform aims to make a stablecoin function identically to a fiat dollar. Users do not need to navigate specific wallet software or exchange interfaces. The partnership targets business owners who may hold digital assets but lack dedicated infrastructure.
Mesh CEO Bam Azizi noted that this infrastructure is typically reserved for large enterprises. The new integration extends these capabilities to smaller business owners. The approach treats digital assets as a standard funding source rather than a niche product. This aligns with the growing adoption of stablecoins in commercial treasury management.
Mesh network expansion milestones
The partnership occurs during a period of significant growth for Mesh. The company recently launched the Mesh Alliance Program for enterprise payments. It also released the Mesh Wallet to support AI-agent transactions in stablecoins. Mesh joined Paxos' Global Dollar Network to expand its reach. New partnerships with Deel, AMINA Bank, and Rain further extend its network.
Platform capabilities and global reach
Flex unifies banking, payments, credit, and accounting for businesses globally. The platform supports multi-currency accounts and cross-border payments in over 100 countries. It offers corporate cards and stablecoin on-and-off ramps. AI-powered tools manage automated general ledgers and expense monitoring. According to GN markets/crypto (en-US), this consolidation aims to provide a single financial home for business owners.
