OSL Group Expands Banking Circle Rails to Six Fiat Currencies

OSL Group’s Banking Circle infrastructure now supports six fiat currencies for institutional settlement.
OSL Group expanded its Banking Circle payment infrastructure to support six fiat currencies. The expansion adds the Australian dollar, British pound, Hong Kong dollar, Singapore dollar, and US dollar to the existing euro arrangement.
The announcement was made on September 15 by the Hong Kong-listed firm. Banking Circle will provide infrastructure for fiat settlement, cryptocurrency conversion, and liquidity management across OSL’s business platforms.
Six currencies enter the payment network
The added currencies are AUD, GBP, HKD, SGD, and USD. The euro was already supported in the prior arrangement. OSL described the expansion as a method to connect institutional clients to payment rails as its business solutions grow across markets.
The company stated it would use Banking Circle’s BC-Now instant-payment network. The network operates around the clock to allow clients to receive, convert, and settle funds through one business platform. These are company descriptions of the planned operating model, not independently published measurements of settlement time.
Institutional scope remains the primary focus
OSL’s release points to growing business interest in moving between fiat money and stablecoins. The new announcement concerns banking and payment connectivity rather than a new public stablecoin issue or retail product launch. The specific stablecoins involved in the expanded rails were not identified.
The company noted that its Austrian subsidiary, OSL EU, received authorization as a crypto-asset service provider under Europe’s Markets in Crypto-Assets rules. This authorization does not establish the legal status of every OSL product in every country. The Hong Kong communication is directed at professional investors.
Regulatory limits and operational constraints persist
OSLDS is a permitted offeror that limits referenced products to verified professional-investor clients in Hong Kong. Certain issuers and OSLDS are not licensed under Hong Kong’s Stablecoin Ordinance to conduct regulated stablecoin activities. Local bank cutoffs and destination rails may still affect specific transactions.
Banking Circle is a Luxembourg-headquartered credit institution. The companies have not provided an independently audited measure of how the OSL expansion changes settlement costs, speed, or client reach. The source GN markets/fx (en-US) reports these details without disclosing transaction volumes or fees.
