Strategy and Strive purchased $183 million in Bitcoin last week. This buying pushed prices above $85,000, their highest level since January.

The rally reversed losses for corporate holders. Strategy’s 846,000 BTC treasury now sits above its aggregate acquisition cost.

Corporate buying lags 2025 peaks

Strategy added 950 BTC for $75.7 million at an average price of $79,670. Strive bought 1,355 BTC for $107.7 million at $79,475 per coin.

Listed companies accumulated only 5,900 BTC over the past three months. Glassnode notes this is far below the 89,000 BTC bought in July 2025.

The sector’s average acquisition price was roughly $80,500. Monday’s price move pushed the group back above that cost basis.

Strategy balances buybacks with accumulation

Strategy’s holdings are now worth about $71.9 billion. This is roughly $8.1 billion above their total acquisition cost of $63.8 billion.

The company repurchased $174 million in preferred stock last week. It spent another $57.4 million on dividends and debt interest.

Strategy has spent $1.1 billion on preferred stock buybacks since July. This capital management runs alongside renewed Bitcoin accumulation.

Strive funds purchases via preferred stock

Strive’s treasury reached 26,355 BTC after its latest purchase. Its cash and equivalents rose to $229.6 million during the same period.
