WisdomTree's $1.2 billion tokenized Treasury fund gains stablecoin access via MoonPay partnership.

WisdomTree announced a partnership with MoonPay to expand U.S. access to its WTGXX tokenized Treasury fund. The fund currently holds $1.2 billion in assets under management. This move allows eligible U.S. investors to purchase shares using stablecoins.

The collaboration links MoonPay’s crypto payment infrastructure with WisdomTree’s regulated products. It serves as an additional channel beyond WisdomTree Securities. MoonPay will also use WTGXX for its own stablecoin reserve management.

Market Share and Recent Flows

WTGXX represents approximately $1.23 billion of the tokenized U.S. Treasury market. The total market size was tracked at roughly $15.4 billion on Thursday. This positions WTGXX as a significant player in the sector.

The fund recorded $466 million in net inflows during the previous 30 days. In comparison, Ondo’s U.S. Dollar Yield fund saw $66 million in positive net flows. These figures indicate strong recent demand for tokenized treasury products.

Network Scale and Investor Reach

MoonPay reports hosting more than 35 million accounts. Its network serves over 1,700 partners globally. The partnership connects WisdomTree’s products to this extensive digital asset network.

Jonathan Steinberg, WisdomTree’s chief executive, stated the deal offers a new path for asset deployment. This targets individual investors outside traditional broker-dealer channels. The goal is to broaden the user base in the United States.

Risk Profile and Regulatory Status

WTGXX targets a share value of $1.00. However, it does not guarantee principal preservation. Investors face potential losses and blockchain-related vulnerabilities.

The fund is not a bank account. It is not insured by the FDIC or any government agency. GN auto markets/bonds: treasury yields notes these risks in its reporting on the fund's structure.
