XRP, Cardano, and Dogecoin 2028 Valuation Scenarios

A 10,000-coin position in XRP could reach $126,000 by 2028 under bullish assumptions, while Cardano and Dogecoin face stricter supply constraints that limit their upside potential for similar holdings.

The value of 10,000 XRP coins could reach $126,000 by the end of 2028 if the asset hits a price of $12.60. This projection comes from Standard Chartered, which raised its long-term target after adjusting its 2026 outlook. In a bearish scenario, the same holding would be worth only $10,000 if XRP trades near $1.00.

Cardano and Dogecoin show different valuation paths due to their supply structures. Cardano has a near-fixed supply of 45 billion coins, while Dogecoin has no cap and issues new coins annually. These factors mean that a 10,000-coin position in Dogecoin has a lower maximum ceiling compared to the other two assets in the current market cycle.

Supply Dynamics Drive Price Ceilings

XRP has 62.74 billion coins in circulation out of a 100 billion maximum. The remaining coins are released gradually from escrow, adding to the supply by 2028. Cardano has 37.5 billion in circulation out of 45 billion, meaning it is close to full issuance. Dogecoin adds roughly 5 billion new coins every year through mining, which dilutes the value of existing holdings over time.

For Cardano, a bull case of $2.50 would value 10,000 coins at $25,000. This level is below the all-time high but represents a significant recovery from current prices. For Dogecoin, a bull case of $0.50 values the holding at $5,000. This price is below the 2021 peak, indicating that even optimistic scenarios do not assume a return to previous highs.

Institutional Flows Support XRP Growth

XRP ETFs have seen $1.68 billion in cumulative inflows since launching in November 2025. This institutional interest provides a structural bid for the asset. To reach a $710 billion market cap, XRP needs to close a gap of roughly $620 billion from its current level. This requires sustained buying pressure at a pace 140 times the current monthly inflow rate.

The $100,000 target for a 10,000-coin position requires a price of $10.00 for all three assets. XRP would need a 604% gain from its current price of $1.42 to reach this level. This price is nearly triple the all-time high of $3.84 set in January 2018. Such a move would make XRP 25% of the total crypto market cap.

Market Cap Implications for 2028

If XRP reaches $10.00, its market cap would be approximately $710 billion. This assumes roughly 71 billion coins in circulation by 2028. The current crypto market cap is $2.78 trillion, so XRP would hold a significant share. Cardano would need to reach $10.00 to hit the same valuation target, which is far above its current price of $0.22.

Dogecoin would also need to reach $10.00 to value 10,000 coins at $100,000. This is a massive increase from its current price of $0.15. The projection from GN markets/crypto (en-US) highlights that supply inflation makes this target less likely for Dogecoin compared to assets with fixed supplies. The math remains the same, but the probability differs based on the underlying asset mechanics.
