Prices are 32.0 cents higher than a month ago. They are $1.13 higher than a year ago. The national average for diesel increased by 31.6 cents over the same period.
National Diesel Costs Surge
The national average price of diesel reached $6.183 per gallon. This represents a significant weekly increase. The national average for gasoline also climbed by 17.2 cents.
The national gasoline average stands at $4.25 per gallon. It is 19.0 cents above the previous month’s level. It is $1.14 higher than the price recorded a year ago.
Geopolitical Tensions Drive Increases
