Lam Dong Launches 458 Social Housing Units at 613 Million VND

Lam Dong province has opened registration for 458 social housing units in the Ham Kiem I Industrial Park. The Department of Construction confirmed that the lowest starting price for these units is 613 million VND.

The project targets workers and low-income residents with unit sizes ranging from 77.92 to 114.99 square meters. The highest listed price for the largest units exceeds 1.48 billion VND.

Eligibility covers 13 resident groups

Eligibility extends to 13 specific groups, including urban low-income households and industrial park workers. Single applicants must earn no more than 25 million VND per month on average.

Married couples qualify if their combined monthly income does not exceed 50 million VND. Applicants must not own a home, or have an average floor area of less than 15 square meters per person.

Preferential loans reach 600 million VND

The Provincial Development Investment Fund offers preferential loans of up to 600 million VND for eligible civil servants. The interest rate is fixed at 5.4 percent per year for a term of up to 25 years.

Buyers under 35 years old can access commercial bank loans at a 6.5 percent annual rate. This rate applies for the first five years, rising to 7.5 percent for the following decade.

Province targets 14,502 new units

Lam Dong aims to complete 14,502 social housing units between 2025 and 2030. The province sets a specific target of 2,184 units for completion in 2026 alone.
