UMass Minutewomen Face Two NCAA Veterans in Florida
UMass Minutewomen will test their returning core against Big Ten and Big 12 powerhouses in the Blue Heron Division round-robin at the Coconut Hoops tournament. The Minutewomen are set to face Washington on Nov. 27 and Oklahoma State on Nov. 28, marking the first-ever meeting between the Pokes and Minutewomen.
Oklahoma State University Athletics confirmed the Blue Heron Division will play in a round-robin format, with the Cowgirls opening against Washington on Nov. 27 and facing UMass on Nov. 28 at Alico Arena. The announcement also noted that Oklahoma State and UMass are meeting for the first time in program history, while the OSU-Washington matchup marks their first encounter since 2003.
