Players Defend Teammate's Status

Tight end Ben Sinnott described the sideline dynamic as one of strong brotherhood. He noted that the team watched Daniels work hard to reach his current level. "All that stuff is ridiculous," Sinnott said. He explained that players stepped back only to give trainers clear space to work. According to Quinn, Coleman and lineman Josh Conerly Jr. were the last to leave. They departed with Quinn, backup Marcus Mariota, and Athan Kaliakmanis.
