UNT emerged from the chaos with a 27-25, 26-28, 26-24, 25-17 victory, finally breaking a three-match losing streak and improving their season record to 4-3.

Momentum shifted decisively in the third set when North Texas trailed 22-24. From that deficit, the Mean Green rallied with four consecutive points to seize control. That surge carried them into the final frame, where they dismantled the Ladyjacks with a resounding 25-17 finish. Jahniya Jackson, Reagan Bedell, and Jocelyn Jourdan each anchored the attack with 14 kills apiece.
