Uni-Fuels Hikes 2026 Outlook After Record First-Half Profit

Uni-F Holdings reported record first-half revenue and net income, prompting an 18.6% after-hours share gain and a raised full-year 2026 revenue target.
Uni-Fuels Holdings (NASDAQ:UFG) shares jumped 18.58% to $0.85 in after-hours trading Wednesday after the Singapore-based marine fuel provider announced record first-half results. The stock had already gained 24.97% to close at $0.72 during the regular session, according to data cited by Benzinga Pro. The surge followed the release of unaudited interim financials for the six months ended June 30, which marked the company's highest performance since inception.
The company reported revenue of $197.1 million, a 72% year-over-year increase from $114.6 million. Net income surged 1,415% to $1.4 million from $90,987 in the prior year period. EBITDA climbed 598% to $2.1 million, while operating margin expanded significantly to 35.8% from 8.9%, reflecting improved cost discipline and commercial execution in the shipping solutions sector.
Profitability Metrics Show Sharp Expansion
Gross profit rose 158% to $5.3 million, driven by the volume growth in marine fuel sales. The operating margin improvement from 8.9% to 35.8% indicates that the company captured a larger share of revenue as profit after covering direct costs. This expansion in margins was a key factor in the 1,415% jump in net income, demonstrating that the revenue growth was accompanied by substantial efficiency gains rather than just volume increases.
Uni-Fuels stated that these figures represent its highest first-half revenue, gross profit, income from operations, net income, and EBITDA since its inception. CEO Koh Kuan Hua attributed the performance to the agility of the business model and the ability to respond quickly to changing market dynamics while maintaining disciplined execution. The company emphasized that commercial execution strength was the primary driver behind the significant improvements in profitability and operating performance.
Full-Year 2026 Revenue Guidance Raised
Following the strong interim results, Uni-Fuels lifted its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $340 million to $360 million. This represents an increase from the previous forecast of $320 million to $340 million. The upward revision signals continued momentum in the business and reflects management's confidence in sustaining the growth trajectory observed in the first half of the year.
Share Price Remains Near Lows
Despite the positive earnings release and guidance hike, UFG shares are trading near their 52-week low of $0.45. The stock has fallen 92.54% over the past 12 months, with a market capitalization of $23.19 million. The Relative Strength Index stands at 62.28, indicating that while recent momentum has shifted positive following the earnings beat, the long-term trend remains downward. The 52-week high for the stock is $9.91, highlighting the significant volatility and price decline experienced by investors over the last year.
