Cyclic Materials Launches Mesa Facility for Rare Earth Recovery

Cyclic Materials has begun commercial operations at its Mesa, Arizona plant, the first U.S. facility for automated mechanical separation of rare earth magnets. The site is now preparing for its first commercial deliveries to domestic customers while processing 25,000 metric tons annually to bolster supply chains.

  According to Mining Weekly, the Mesa site is set to execute its first commercial shipments to U.S. clients later this month. The company has already received over 7,000 metric tons of end-of-life feedstock and is moving ahead with plans for a new integrated campus in South Carolina.
