NeoTerrex Launches Rare Earth Exploration in Quebec

NeoTerrex Minerals has initiated its fully funded 2026 exploration program in Québec, focusing on rare earth elements and precious metals.
NeoTerrex Minerals Inc. (TSXV: NTX) has commenced its fully funded 2026 exploration program across multiple projects in Québec. The company is prioritizing the Strange Lake West rare earth elements project in Nunavik, located adjacent to Torngat Metals Ltd.'s heavy rare earth deposit. This maiden program utilizes helicopter-assisted methods to cover broad areas, targeting historical occurrences of rare earth pegmatites and syenitic intrusions.
Simultaneously, NeoTerrex has completed technical due diligence for the Reservoir project, with definitive agreement drafting underway. The company is also refining targets at the Gravitas and Monument projects, where surface sampling has identified new gold and tungsten occurrences. These activities are supported by data from the Québec government's SIGÉOM database and local geological surveys.
Rare Earth Prospecting Begins
The Strange Lake West project is the centerpiece of the current campaign, aiming to locate historical rare earth mineral occurrences and evaluate prospective pegmatites. The helicopter-assisted approach allows for efficient coverage of remote terrain. Historical samples from the area, recorded in the SIGÉOM database, returned total rare earth oxide values between 0.10% and 1.40%. These samples also indicated the presence of dysprosium, a high-value heavy rare earth element, suggesting potential for significant resource development.
Reservoir Deal Approaches Closure
NeoTerrex has finished its technical review of the Reservoir project and is now drafting the definitive acquisition agreement. Applications for required exploration permits have been initiated, with work expected to start immediately upon approval. The project hosts the C52 Zone, traced for 1.6 kilometres, which returned historical drill results of 8 metres grading 1.12 g/t gold and 0.93% copper. Other zones, including Mitlin and Barrage, show high-grade gold and copper values, indicating a diversified precious and base metal potential.
Tungsten and Gold Targets Refined
At the Gravitas project, summer prospecting identified sporadic scheelite mineralization at the Petosa Tungsten Zone. Due to wet terrain and limited outcrop, the company has deferred drilling to develop additional regional targets. Surface sampling yielded a gold occurrence of 4.43 g/t from a quartz vein. At the Monument project, the company expanded its claim block southward to cover an untested electromagnetic anomaly. Till sampling is complete, with results pending, as the target shares geological similarities with the nearby Olga Gold project.
