Ramelius raises FY30 production guidance by 11% and boosts Mt Magnet plant spend to A$280 million to support long-term growth.

Key points

  • Ramelius projects FY30 gold output of 560,000 to 610,000 ounces, an 11% increase on its prior plan.
  • Mt Magnet plant expenditure rises to A$280 million to support processing capacity beyond 4.3 million tonnes annually.
  • FY27 guidance is set at 205,000 to 225,000 ounces with an AISC of A$2,150 to A$2,350 per ounce.

Ramelius Resources has raised its medium-term production outlook, projecting FY30 gold output of 560,000 to 610,000 ounces. This represents an 11% increase over its previous plan and a 205% growth in volume compared to FY26 levels, signaling a significant expansion in operational scale.

The company expects to achieve this output at an all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of A$2,100 to A$2,400 per ounce. This cost structure is supported by a fully funded growth capital program ranging from A$480 million to A$570 million, underpinned by a balance sheet holding more than A$1 billion in cash, gold, and investments.

Mt Magnet capital spend increased to A$280M

Ramelius is increasing total plant expenditure at its Mt Magnet hub to A$280 million, up from the previously planned A$223 million. This additional investment accounts for inflation, higher fixed-price coverage, and additional infrastructure required to support processing capacity beyond the planned 4.3 million tonnes per annum.

Management aims to establish Mt Magnet as a top-10 global gold production hub by FY30. The expanded mine life extends to 2043, allowing the company to maintain its sector-leading cost position while reliably meeting guidance targets through continued infrastructure optimization.

FY27 guidance set at 225k ounce ceiling

For the interim period, Ramelius has set FY27 guidance at 205,000 to 225,000 ounces of gold. The expected AISC for this fiscal year is A$2,150 to A$2,350 per ounce, reflecting the phased rollout of the growth capital program and ongoing operational efficiencies.

Recent investments in projects such as Galaxy and Cue have been strategically deployed to displace lower-grade material. This approach preserves the company’s low-cost profile while ensuring steady production volumes, a strategy highlighted in TipRanks data as a key driver of its reliable guidance track record.
