SAGA Metals Hits 485m Oxide Zone at Radar Project

SAGA Metals reported a 485.4m mineralized section in Labrador. This data supports the company's first resource estimate for its Radar project.
Key points
- SAGA Metals reported a 485.4-meter interval with 32.21% iron oxide and 5.30% titanium dioxide.
- A 129.1-meter section within the hole graded 47.16% iron oxide and 7.82% titanium dioxide.
- The company has assays from 74 holes to support its first mineral resource estimate.
SAGA Metals reported a 485.4-meter oxide hit at its Radar project in Labrador. The company disclosed these drilling results to support its first mineral resource estimate. The news came from the Toronto Stock Exchange listing.
The drill hole hit 32.21% iron oxide. It also contained 5.30% titanium dioxide. Vanadium pentoxide levels reached 0.191%. These figures apply to the full 485.4-meter interval.
High-grade sections define mineral continuity
A 129.1-meter section showed higher grades. Iron oxide reached 47.16% in this part. Titanium dioxide measured 7.82% here. Vanadium pentoxide hit 0.295% in this zone.
Another hole, R-0081, added 148.5 meters of material. It contained 44.47% iron oxide. Titanium dioxide was 7.12%. Vanadium pentoxide reached 0.287% in this interval.
A 69.2-meter sub-section within that hole graded higher. Iron oxide hit 50.18% there. Titanium dioxide measured 8.20% in this spot. Vanadium pentoxide reached 0.329% in this area.
Drilling program supports resource modeling
Michael Garagan leads the geological team. He states these results define the system. The data helps build the resource model. The company aims for a maiden estimate.
SAGA has assays from 74 holes. The Trapper program drilled 22,432 meters. It finished in August. This data set is now complete for modeling.
The Trapper zone is part of a 29km2 body. It also hosts Falcon and Hawkeye zones. The site is near Cartwright. It has year-round road access to ports.
Location offers operational advantages
Mining.com.au previously reported a 470-meter hit. That hole ended in mineralization. It added to the dataset. The property is wholly owned by SAGA.
