USA Rare Earth has broken ground on a $1.2 billion facility in Blacksburg, South Carolina, targeting 6,400 tons of annual magnet production and 5,000 tons of strip-cast metal by 2028. This site, chosen from nearly 275 contenders, is set to create 490 jobs and serves as a cornerstone for the company's integrated domestic supply chain.
