UiPath reported second-quarter revenue of $410.26 million and net income of $36.09 million. The company raised its full-year fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to between $1.789 billion and $1.794 billion, signaling confidence in continued enterprise adoption of its automation platform.

UiPath (NYSE: PATH) has strengthened its financial outlook following a second-quarter performance that exceeded expectations. The software firm reported revenue of US$410.26 million and net income of US$36.09 million for the period. According to the report from GN markets/earnings (en-US), these results were accompanied by an upward revision to full-year fiscal 2027 targets, marking a significant shift in the company's near-term trajectory.

The company adjusted its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to a range of US$1.789 billion to US$1.794 billion. Concurrently, annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets were set between US$2.065 billion and US$2.070 billion. This guidance increase reflects management’s assessment that enterprise customers are moving beyond pilot projects to broader, governed deployments of automation and AI agents on the UiPath platform.

Operational Scale Drives Revenue Growth

UiPath highlighted the expanding complexity of customer usage as a key driver of its performance. The company cited Banco Azteca, which now utilizes more than 8,800 automated processes on its platform. This example illustrates a trend where automation deployments are increasing in both scale and operational integration, supporting the company's push toward bundling AI orchestration with traditional robotic process automation.

The financial results also coincide with leadership changes across finance, legal, and board functions. These structural adjustments aim to support the company's transition toward a fully cloud-based SaaS model. However, the path forward still faces headwinds from foreign exchange impacts and the ongoing drag associated with the SaaS transition, which require careful management to maintain margin stability.

Valuation Remains Tight Against Forecasts

Despite the improved guidance, the stock's valuation leaves limited room for execution errors. Current analyst models suggest a fair value of approximately $13.31 per share, compared to the recent trading price of $14.01. This implies a potential downside of 5% relative to current market levels. The company's long-term consensus forecast projects revenues of about $2.1 billion and earnings of $287.5 million by 2029, assuming an annual revenue growth rate of 8.1%.

Competitive Pressures Shape Future Prospects

The primary risk to UiPath's trajectory remains intense competition in the AI orchestration sector. While some optimistic models project higher earnings by 2029, the consensus view emphasizes the need for strict delivery against the newly raised ARR targets. The company must demonstrate that its agentic tools and Maestro offerings can retain existing customers and drive expansion despite rising competitive threats and potential delays in enterprise budget cycles.
