Nintendo adds ten classic Mario Kart tracks for free

Mario Kart World's Version 1.8.0 update, arriving today, adds ten classic Super Mario Kart tracks to Versus mode and two new Knockout Tour routes. This free patch transforms previously hidden exploration areas into competitive racing circuits, featuring authentic ground-level power-ups.
Engadget notes that these ten retro circuits were previously hidden in the open world for exploration only, but are now fully playable in Versus mode with ground-level question blocks. The update also introduces two new Knockout Tour routes and marks the first time Mario Kart World has received new tracks since launch.
