Alkane Resources Ltd reports a total group inventory of 8.64 million ounces of measured and indicated gold resources as of June 30, 2026. The company achieved this growth by replacing depletion across its three producing mines through active exploration programs.

Alkane Resources Ltd reported a total group inventory of 8.64 million ounces of measured and indicated gold resources as of June 30, 2026. This figure excludes 3.76 million ounces of inferred gold resources. The company also holds 1.01 million tonnes of contained copper and 42,000 tonnes of antimony within its measured and indicated categories.

Group ore reserves stand at 25.49 million tonnes. These reserves grade 1.7 grams per tonne of gold. The total contained gold in these reserves is 1.374 million ounces. Additionally, the reserves contain 15,000 tonnes of antimony.

Producing mines replace resource depletion

All three producing assets increased their resource bases during the 2026 financial year. Björkdal in Sweden hosts 22.47 million tonnes of measured and indicated resources. This stock grades 2.07 grams per tonne for 1.50 million ounces of gold. Tomingley in New South Wales contains 17.30 million tonnes at 2.1 grams per tonne for 1.18 million ounces.

Costerfield in Victoria holds 1.99 million tonnes of measured and indicated resources. This asset grades 6.0 grams per tonne of gold and 2.1% antimony. The contained metals total 387,000 ounces of gold and 42,000 tonnes of antimony. According to GN markets/commodities, this growth reflects successful exploration and extension programs at each site.

Boda-Kaiser anchors development inventory

The Boda-Kaiser project in central-west New South Wales remains the largest component of the broader resource base. It contains 5.57 million ounces of gold and 1.01 million tonnes of copper in measured and indicated categories. This estimate was not re-estimated for the 2026 financial year. It remains based on the resource outlined in the October 2025 update.

CEO cites exploration success

Nic Earner, managing director and CEO of Alkane Resources, stated that the company is pleased with continued resource growth. He noted that all assets are replacing depletion through continued exploration. This growth reinforces the value and potential of the producing portfolio. Alkane continues exploration across the surrounding Northern Molong Porphyry Project.
