Gold rates in major Indian cities hovered near ₹153,000 per 10 grams on September 14. Silver prices remained uniform across all tracked markets at ₹23,469 per 100 grams.

The 24-karat gold rate in Delhi stood at ₹1,52,720 per 10 grams. This figure represents the benchmark for domestic bullion trading. Silver prices showed no variation across the six major cities monitored.

Retailers quoted consistent rates for 22-karat gold. Joyalukkas and Malabar Gold & Diamonds both set their price at ₹14,155 per gram. Tanishq priced its 22-karat offering slightly higher at ₹14,200 per gram.

Regional price variations remain minimal

Chennai recorded the highest 24-karat rate at ₹1,53,430 per 10 grams. Hyderabad followed closely with a rate of ₹1,53,230. The spread between the highest and lowest city rates was ₹710 per 10 grams.

Mumbai traded at ₹1,52,990 per 10 grams for 24-karat gold. Bengaluru quoted ₹1,53,110, placing it in the middle of the national range. Kolkata’s rate of ₹1,52,780 remained just above the Delhi benchmark.

Silver market shows uniform pricing

All six cities listed identical silver rates. The price per 100 grams was fixed at ₹23,469. This translates to ₹2,34,690 per kilogram in every location.

There were no regional premiums or discounts for silver. This uniformity contrasts with the slight variations seen in gold. Traders cite consistent wholesale supply as the reason for this stability.

Retail brand pricing follows bullion trends

Jewelers maintained stable quotes on September 14. The difference between the lowest and highest 22-karat retail prices was ₹45 per gram. Malabar Gold & Diamonds quoted ₹15,442 per gram for 24-karat items.

Tanishq’s 24-karat rate stood at ₹15,491 per gram. This premium reflects brand-specific pricing policies and procurement costs. GN auto markets/commodities: silver prices data confirms the lack of volatility in the silver segment.
