Anchorage Digital Enables Institutional Access to fUSD Stablecoin

Anchorage Digital Bank will allow institutional clients to hold, mint, redeem, and stake Frgmnt’s fUSD stablecoin. The move expands the firm’s role in regulated stablecoin infrastructure.
Anchorage Digital Bank will permit institutional clients to hold, mint, redeem, and stake Frgmnt’s fUSD stablecoin. The bank is federally chartered and regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
This partnership adds to Anchorage’s position as a regulated gateway for stablecoin access. The company was valued at $4.2 billion in February after receiving a $100 million investment from Tether.
Expanded Stablecoin Infrastructure
Tether selected Anchorage in January to issue USAt, a stablecoin designed under the GENIUS Act. This deal shifted Anchorage from pure custody to active stablecoin issuance.
Anchorage also extended its services into payments and treasury operations. In May, Mexico’s Grupo Salinas partnered with the firm for blockchain-based dollar transfers and cross-border settlement.
Growth in Institutional Staking
The firm expanded its institutional staking services to allow clients to earn protocol rewards. Assets remain within the custody environment during these operations.
An April integration with Marinade Finance added Solana staking strategies. In July, the platform introduced native staking for TRX, the native token of the Tron network.
Market Context and Reporting
Cointelegraph reports that this integration solidifies Anchorage’s role in onchain finance. The firm continues to build infrastructure for regulated digital asset management.
