Mechanics of onchain equity trading
Aerodrome uses liquidity pools to execute trades on Base. Users deposit paired assets into these pools to facilitate exchanges. This structure allows trading without centralized order books.
Uniswap v4 provides a separate liquidity source with programmable hooks. Developers can customize fees and access conditions within this protocol. The tokens trade outside regular U.S. equity market hours.
