Inflows driven by cost basis break
Funds saw $715 million in net inflows on Tuesday. This followed a 2026 high of $999 million in daily inflows on Monday.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust led Tuesday's activity with $350 million. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund followed with $257 million in net purchases.
Average holder moves back above water
Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart noted holders are profitable. Bitcoin moved above his estimated ETF cost basis of $81,722 per coin.
Bitcoin traded around $86,000 on Tuesday according to Cointelegraph data. The asset briefly surged above $87,000 on Wednesday before settling at $86,467.
Price momentum supports asset growth
Bitcoin is up 1.2% over 24 hours. The seven-day gain stands at 13.8%, reflecting sustained buying pressure across the market.
Total net assets sit at $111 billion. This level is significantly higher than the $71 billion recorded on June 30.
