BlackRock IBIT Draws 3.7 Billion Dollars in Quarterly Inflows

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust recorded net inflows of $3.7 billion this quarter. This marks the fund’s strongest intake since the third quarter of 2025.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust recorded net inflows of $3.7 billion this quarter. This marks the fund’s strongest intake since the third quarter of 2025. September has already delivered $459.8 million in new capital. August previously generated roughly $3 billion in inflows. That August total was the highest monthly figure since October 2025.
Assets under management for IBIT reached approximately $62.6 billion. This level is near the fund’s highest point since mid-May. Since July, IBIT’s assets have increased by roughly $19.6 billion. This represents a 46 percent rise in fund size. The fund remains below its earlier peak of nearly $100 billion.
Bitcoin ETFs Recover From Summer Losses
The IBIT recovery is part of a wider rebound in U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs. Bitcoin ETFs attracted $3.52 billion during August. This was the strongest monthly performance of 2026. The recovery continued into early September. A three-week inflow streak brought approximately $3.8 billion into the category.
The week ending September 5 added another $986.9 million in net inflows. September 3 alone produced $730.9 million in net inflows. These gains reduced the sector’s 2026 net deficit to roughly $1 billion. June created the largest setback with $4.5 billion in redemptions. May also recorded heavy withdrawals earlier in the year.
BlackRock Leads the Market Rebound
IBIT remains the largest individual Bitcoin ETF in the U.S. market. Its latest quarterly inflows reversed earlier negative flows. Assets rebounded from levels near $47 billion to about $62.64 billion. Cumulative inflows since the January 2024 launch reached about $55.6 billion. The total category assets now hold approximately $101.3 billion.
Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund also contributed to the recovery. ARK 21Shares and Bitwise products remain active in the market. Grayscale’s GBTC has continued to record redemptions. This pattern contrasts with fresh capital entering competing products. IBIT’s large asset base drives much of the recent category recovery.
Ethereum ETFs Show Mixed Flows
U.S. Ethereum ETFs posted 10,330 ETH in combined net inflows on September 4. BlackRock’s ETHA led the group with 29,600 ETH in net inflows. Bitwise’s ETHB followed with 6,540 ETH in additions. Fidelity’s FETH recorded withdrawals of 19,270 ETH. The fund-level figures produced a positive combined total for the sector.
Bitcoin ETF inflows continue narrowing the category’s earlier 2026 deficit. IBIT remained the largest fund during this recovery period. The latest figures show a clear change from the summer redemption period. IBIT’s quarterly intake placed BlackRock at the center of the rebound. Bitcoin ETFs remain about $1 billion negative for 2026 despite recent inflows. This data was reported by GN markets/crypto (en-US).
