Local Newsroom Tracking Efforts
The Sierra Nevada Ally is developing a more comprehensive price tracker. The publication aims to launch this tool later this year. The current data relies on federal statistics from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Local newsrooms are working to close coverage gaps in the region. The project is supported by the Press Forward coalition. This organization has invested over $500 million to strengthen local journalism.
