Tortoise Capital executes its third-quarter 2026 rebalance, adding Fervo Energy while removing EVgo from the Decarbonization Infrastructure Index.

Tortoise Capital added Fervo Energy to its Decarbonization Infrastructure Index during the third-quarter 2026 rebalance. EVgo Inc was removed from the same index effective September 18, 2026. The change follows the close of trading on that Friday.

No constituent changes occurred in the Tortoise MLP Index or the North American Pipeline Index. The Global Water Index also remained unchanged. GN auto markets/indices: stock index reports that these adjustments finalize the quarterly review process.

Methodology Expands Exchange Eligibility

Tortoise Capital updated its methodology for the MLP and Pipeline indices immediately. The Texas Stock Exchange is now an approved listing venue. Eligible securities listed on TXSE can now be included in these indices.

Fervo Replaces EVgo in Index

Fervo Energy trades under the ticker FRVO. EVgo traded under the ticker EVGO. Both companies are listed in the United States. This swap alters the composition of the Decarbonization Infrastructure Index.

Assets Under Management Reach $11.4 Billion

Tortoise Capital manages approximately $11.4 billion in assets. This figure is current as of August 31, 2026. The firm has operated for more than 20 years. It is an early investor in midstream energy.
