Alliance Entertainment reported fiscal 2026 revenue of $1.15 billion, with adjusted EBITDA rising 14% to $41.5 million as collectibles demand surged.

Alliance Entertainment Holding Corporation reported fiscal 2026 revenue of $1.15 billion, an 8% increase year-over-year, according to data from GN markets/earnings (en-US). The company’s adjusted EBITDA climbed 14% to $41.5 million, while gross margin expanded by 80 basis points to 13.3%. These figures reflect improved operating leverage as the distributor scales its physical media and collectibles operations.

Shares of Alliance Entertainment jumped more than 46% in premarket trading following the release of these results. The sharp price movement followed a broader upward trend where the stock had already gained 9.53% in recent sessions, driven by optimism over sustained growth in distribution volumes and studio partnerships.

Collectibles Drive Margin Expansion

Growth was broad-based across the company’s core physical media categories. Vinyl sales increased by 13%, while CD sales rose 25% and physical movie sales grew 22%. The most significant contributor to margin improvement was the collectibles segment, which posted a 45% revenue increase.

This performance was supported by expanded relationships with major studios, including Paramount and Amazon MGM Studios. The company shifted its business mix toward higher-margin collectibles and fulfillment services, a strategic move that contributed directly to the 80 basis point expansion in gross margin. This shift indicates a structural improvement in profitability beyond simple volume growth.

Cash Flow Faces Working Capital Strain

Despite strong top-line growth, GAAP net income declined modestly due to a non-cash vendor receivable write-off and higher selling, general, and administrative expenses. Operating cash flow turned slightly negative as the company increased inventory and receivables to support its expansion.

The working capital buildup created a temporary liquidity stress, with a current ratio of 1.3x and limited cash reserves of $0.8 million. This cash flow headwind contrasts with the strong adjusted EBITDA figures, highlighting the difference between operating profitability and immediate liquidity for the distributor.

Market Valuation Remains Discounted

Following the earnings release, the stock trades at a price-to-sales multiple of 0.25x and a price-to-free-cash-flow multiple of 3.2x. These valuations remain at a steep discount to comparable companies in the physical media and specialty distribution sectors.

The company scheduled a conference call for September 10, 2026, to discuss the fiscal year 2026 results in detail. The market reaction has been driven by the confirmed broad-based category growth and the improving mix toward higher-margin services, which analysts view as a sustainable driver of future profitability.
