Huinno has secured the requisite technology grades from KRX-appointed agencies, validating its AI-driven cardiac monitoring platform and clearing the path for its initial public offering.

Huinno, a digital health firm specializing in AI-powered cardiac monitoring, has passed the technology assessment required for a technology-based special listing on Kosdaq. The company received A and BBB grades from two independent agencies designated by the Korea Exchange, meeting the prerequisites to apply for a preliminary listing review. This milestone allows Huinno to proceed with IPO procedures in consultation with its lead underwriter, marking a significant step in its capital raising efforts.

The assessment specifically recognized Huinno’s technology in electrocardiogram-based diagnosis and monitoring. By addressing the limitations of short hospital-based ECG tests, the company’s solutions enable continuous recording and analysis of cardiac activity over extended periods. This capability supports clinicians in detecting intermittent arrhythmias and monitoring vital signs in real time, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.

AI-driven monitoring products

Huinno’s core offerings include MEMO CARE and MEMOCUE, which combine AI-based analysis with wearable medical devices. MEMO CARE analyzes data recorded for up to 14 days by a wearable ECG device to help clinicians screen for and diagnose arrhythmias. The system has been adopted by major tertiary hospitals in Korea, with usage expanding to general hospitals and clinics. MEMOCUE enables healthcare professionals to track hospitalized patients’ ECG and vital-sign data in real time, primarily targeting tertiary hospital settings.

The company’s proprietary algorithms identify abnormal signals in ECG data to support clinical decision-making. Additionally, Huinno’s wearable ECG patch incorporates a defibrillation-protection feature, providing electrical protection during defibrillation procedures. This focus on high-accuracy AI analysis and patient safety design underscores the technological foundation that passed the KRX assessment.

Funding and strategic partnerships

Huinno has raised approximately 80 billion won ($59 million) in cumulative investment from Korean institutional investors. Yuhan Corp serves as both a strategic investor and the company’s domestic distribution partner. This financial backing supports Huinno’s operational expansion and product development, reinforcing its position in the digital healthcare market ahead of its public listing.

International expansion and new tools

Huinno is pursuing growth through overseas expansion and new product launches. After securing Japanese medical device certification for MEMO CARE, the company signed an exclusive nationwide distribution agreement with a local partner. It is now building a sales network targeting Japan’s outpatient Holter ECG monitoring market. Additionally, Huinno is preparing to launch Vital-PICASO, an AI-based clinical decision support system that uses predictive technology to identify hospitalized patients at risk of clinical deterioration.
