Empire Resources has closed the data loop on its Yuinmery rare earth project by publishing the full JORC Table 1, validating sampling methods and quality controls for the September 2026 disclosure.

Empire Resources Limited (ASX: ERL) has released supplementary technical data for the Yuinmery rare earth project, completing the JORC compliance package for the mineralisation disclosed in mid-September 2026. The update, dated 17 September, details the specific sampling and analytical methodologies used to assess the deposit. This disclosure follows the initial announcement on 16 September and provides the regulatory framework required to validate the resource estimates.

The company confirmed that no adjustments were made to raw assay data, citing rigorous quality control protocols. The release outlines how sample recoveries generally exceeded 90% and that no quality assurance issues were identified during the audit process. By defining these parameters, Empire Resources establishes the technical baseline for future development stages of the Yuinmery asset.

Analytical Methods and Laboratory Work

Empire Resources utilized AirCore and Reverse Circulation drilling techniques to collect one-metre samples, which were then composited into four-metre intervals for laboratory analysis. The samples underwent a standardized preparation process involving drying, crushing, and pulverising. This was followed by Aqua Regia digestion and ICP-MS/OES analysis to extract full Rare Earth Element assays from the historical data sets.

Intertek and Jinnings Laboratories performed the multi-element analysis work. The consistent application of these analytical methods ensures that the REE concentrations reported are comparable across different drill holes. This standardization is critical for maintaining data integrity in the resource model.

Quality Control and Spatial Accuracy

Quality control measures were central to the data validation process. Field duplicates and laboratory standards were submitted throughout the campaign, with no issues reported in the results. Geological logging was completed for all drill holes, and the company confirmed that strict sample security protocols were observed from the point of collection to the laboratory.

Spatial accuracy was maintained by locating drill hole collars using handheld GPS devices. Data management was systematic, moving from field logs directly into a central database without manual adjustments. The company stated that audits were not required for this specific phase because the existing procedures were deemed adequate, and no QA/QC deficiencies were found.

Drill Spacing and Geological Bias

The drill hole spacing was set at intervals of 40 to 100 metres across section lines and 20 to 40 metres along the lines. This density was considered appropriate for the current stage of assessment. Empire Resources noted that drilling bias was deemed insignificant due to the nature of the mineralisation, which is described as shallow and often flat-lying oxide.

The orientation of sampling was evaluated against the geological structure to ensure that the data accurately represents the extent of the rare earth mineralisation. By confirming that bias was negligible, the company supports the reliability of the resource estimates derived from this campaign. This technical clarity is essential for the next steps in project development.
