Serabi Gold to Update Brazil Resources by Q1 2026

Serabi Gold is near the end of its 2026 drilling campaign at Palito and Coringa, with updated resource estimates expected in the first quarter of next year.
Key points
- Serabi Gold completed 20,831 meters of drilling at Coringa and Palito as of the latest report.
- Updated mineral resource estimates for both Brazilian projects are expected in the first quarter of next year.
- The 2025 program increased measured and indicated resources to 730,800 ounces of contained gold.
Serabi Gold is nearing the completion of its 2026 brownfield exploration program in Brazil, which is scheduled to conclude in October. The company, listed on the AIM and TSX, has deployed six drill rigs across the Palito Complex and Coringa projects to delineate larger resources. According to Mining Weekly, the latest high-grade drill results indicate potential for significant inventory expansion at these sites.
Updated mineral resource estimates for both Brazilian projects are expected during the first quarter of the following year. This phase represents the second year of the group’s Phase 2 organic growth strategy, which aims to expand the total group mineral inventory to more than 1.5 million ounces of contained gold.
Drilling volumes target near-mine ounces
Serabi has drilled 9,309 meters across 42 holes at Coringa, targeting mineralization in the north-west and south-east of the currently producing Serra and Meio zones. At Palito, the company drilled 11,522 meters over 37 holes, focusing on increasing near-mine ounces at the Senna, G3, Barrichello, Massa, and Piauí deposits. The total 2026 program is expected to reach 32,000 meters across both sites.
High-grade intercepts support new models
Intercepts from the current program include 1.38 meters grading 11.85 g/t, 2.2 meters at 5.89 g/t, 1.7 meters at 16 g/t, and 1 meter at 10.1 g/t. These results have supported new prospective models and reinterpretations of existing deposits. CEO Mike Hodgson stated that the team is concentrating efforts on priority trends to optimize resource allocation and reduce rework.
Previous year increased resource base
The 2025 brownfield exploration program previously increased consolidated measured and indicated resources to 730,800 ounces of contained gold. The current 2026 program builds on this foundation, with the company aiming to maintain continuous coverage of main zones while improving operational efficiency. The focus remains on proactive exploration to meet the broader inventory targets.
