Sitka Gold Reports 141.5m High-Grade Zone in Blackjack Deposit

Sitka Gold Corp. (TSXV: SIG) has released assay results from 16 diamond drill holes at its RC Gold Project in the Yukon, confirming a significant high-grade gold zone at the Blackjack deposit. The company reported that hole DDRCCC-26-133 intersected 141.5 metres of 1.93 g/t gold, which includes a narrower interval of 80.6 metres averaging 3.20 g/t and a high-grade section of 6.0 metres averaging 9.46 g/t. According to TMX Newsfile, this interval represents one of the strongest results drilled at the project to date and lies below the current mineral resource estimate.

These results are part of a broader expansion of mineralization across the Blackjack-Eiger area. Drilling at the Saddle Zone has traced near-surface gold mineralization across approximately 550 metres of strike east of the current Blackjack resource. All of this new mineralization falls within the planned Blackjack resource pit shell but is currently outside the official mineral resource estimate, indicating potential for additional near-surface ounces to be added to the deposit.

Saddle Zone Expands Near-Surface Resource

The Saddle Zone, located east of the Blackjack resource, has yielded multiple high-grade near-surface intervals. Hole DDRCCC-26-135 returned 17.5 metres of 2.68 g/t gold starting just 4.6 metres from the surface. Similarly, hole DDRCCC-26-136 intersected 14.2 metres of 2.74 g/t gold. These intercepts demonstrate that the mineralization extends significantly along the strike and remains open in all directions, supporting the company's strategy to expand the deposit footprint.

Eiger Step-Out Links Deposits

Step-out drilling at the Eiger deposit, located west of Blackjack, has further expanded the known gold system. Hole DDRCCC-26-139 returned 30.5 metres of 1.46 g/t gold, including a high-grade interval of 1.5 metres averaging 25.50 g/t. These results extend mineralization westward toward the Saddle Zone, suggesting that the Blackjack and Eiger deposits may be part of a single, continuous gold system spanning a 2-kilometre area.

Drilling Program Progress Continues

Sitka Gold has completed approximately 50,000 metres of diamond drilling across 116 holes this year, focusing on the Blackjack, Eiger, and Rhosgobel deposits as well as the Saddle, Contact, and Bear Paw Breccia Zones. The company is currently operating seven drill rigs on-site as part of its planned 60,000-metre drill program for 2026. The ongoing exploration aims to further define the extent of the high-grade zones and test the continuity between the major deposits.
