Tesla received a special order from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration regarding the self-certification of its autonomous Cybercab. Regulators are investigating how the company certified a vehicle lacking steering wheels, pedals, and mirrors without seeking a formal exemption. The agency is specifically concerned whether temporary controls were attached to pass safety tests and subsequently removed.
Snap Launches Premium AR Hardware
Snap launched its Specs augmented reality glasses at a price of $2,195. The device functions as a self-contained wearable computer that does not require connection to external hardware to run applications. The company also introduced the Specs Intelligence AI platform to manage these capabilities, contributing to a 2% rise in its stock price during early trading.
SK Hynix Explores US Manufacturing
