Free Dragon Quest Demo Offers a Bridge to the Full Release

Square Enix has released a free demo for Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World, a title set for a wider launch in December. Demo Progress Transfers With Limitations

One of the most significant features of this trial is the ability to carry progress into the full game. Players can transfer their save data, including their main party and reserve monsters, provided they continue playing on the same platform. This ensures that the time invested in the demo does not go to waste if the user decides to buy the full version.

However, there are clear trade-offs. Square Enix notes that certain items and gold cannot be transferred, meaning players will need to recollect these resources in the full version.
