Honor has recently unveiled the aesthetic design of its upcoming Magic9 series but has kept the technical specifications under wraps. While earlier reports indicated a two-model lineup, new information from GSMArena suggests a third variant is in the works. This potential Magic9 Super Edition appears designed to push the boundaries of battery capacity and thermal performance, distinguishing itself from the standard and Pro Max models.
The device is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals for gaming and scrolling. Under the hood, it is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The most significant claim, however, is the inclusion of an 11,000mAh battery, a substantial increase that promises extended usage times but may come at the cost of increased device thickness or weight.

To manage the heat generated by such a powerful processor and large battery, the Super Edition is reportedly equipped with a built-in active cooling fan. This tiered structure allows Honor to target different user needs, from compact efficiency to flagship performance.
The entire series is scheduled to launch on September 28. Pre-orders are already open through Honor’s official online store in China.
