Migration flows into Honduras
Honduras’ National Migration Institute tracked 1.14 million undocumented entries from 2022 to 2025. Most crossed the southern border with Nicaragua. The group included 473,141 Venezuelans and 242,944 Cubans.
Inflows peaked in 2023 with 545,043 irregular entries. Other nationalities included 126,000 Haitians and 90,489 Ecuadorians. The data also lists 24,294 Chinese nationals and people from nearly 100 other countries.
