The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that security forces eliminated ten members of the Fitna al-Khawarij group during coordinated operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between September 15 and 17. The military stated that these engagements were part of a broader intelligence-led campaign to neutralize militant cells operating within the region.
According to the ISPR, the operations resulted in the death of six soldiers when an improvised explosive device struck a convoy on September 17. Despite the casualties, the military reported that the targeted engagements successfully removed active threats from North Waziristan and Hangu districts, with weapons and ammunition recovered from the sites.

Specifically, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa emerged as the most affected region, with over 61% of the total deaths recorded there. The province also logged the highest number of violent incidents, representing 57% of the nationwide total.
